What a Year it has been!

A Word from our Director

It has been a long year of unpredictability, confusion, anxiety and concern.  I hope everyone is well and keeping safe.  Usually by this time of the year we are in full registration mode.  This year is obviously quite different.  Many of you have inquired about in-person camp and as much as I would give you an answer, as of now, we still are waiting for word as to whether or not we will be able to utilize a space at J.O. Wilson.  There has been not information as to whether or not DCPS schools will be used for private camps.  We have thought of other venues but because there is still so much that is unpredictable (camp size, maximum occupancy etc..) we are in a holding position. As soon as we receive word on all the particulars, we will update you immediately.  Our top priority is the safety of our campers and their families.  We are still offering a virtual option for those who are still feeling uncomfortable being in-person.  Thank you so much for your patience and understanding while we try to navigate through this uncertain time.

Sincerely,

Lisa Ochieng
