How do I register my child?

Click on the “Summer Camp” page on this site and follow the instructions. You will be prompted to enter your detailed family registration information.

What is the refund policy?

If you submit a refund request via phone or email before June 1st, you will receive a full refund of your tuition amount paid. Unfortunately, we cannot provide refunds for early bird specials or last-minute cancellations.

What ages can attend Art Days of Summer?

Camp is offered two age ranges: 3yrs (Rising Pre-k 4) to 6yrs (rising 1st grade) and 7yrs (Rising 2nd grade) to 10yrs (Rising 5th Grade). Our maxmium teacher-to-child ration is 10 campers for each teacher.

What is the typical camp schedule?

9:00-9:15: Opening Circle. Teachers welcome students, play a warm-up game and get kids organized for the days activities 9:15 - 9:30: Read book related to the activity of the day 9:30 - 10:00: Outside play 10:00 - 10:30: Restroom and snack break 10:30 -12:00: Activity 1 - Kids explore that day’s concepts through hands-on art projects and educational games. 12:00-12:30: Lunchtime 12:30-1:15: Quiet time and free exploration 1:15-1:30: Restroom 1:30-3:00: Activity 2 3:00-3:30: Roundup & Review

How does the check-in/check-out process work?

Security is very important, anyone who comes to pick up a child (a nanny, relative, friend, etc.) must be on the authorized pick-up list. We check the contact list and verify their ID before allowing the camper to leave.

What does my child need to bring each day?

Your child should wear comfortable clothes and shoes they can walk in, bring a light sweater, a water bottle, sunscreen, sunglasses and/or a hat, and a swimsuit and towel on water days.

Are breakfast and/or lunch provided

Yes, at our locaiton DCPS will provide free breakfast and lunch to children throughout the summer. Your child is welcome to bring their own lunch. Please note we operate in a nut free environment, so please do not send anything that contains nut products.

What happens if the week i want is full?

You will be given the option online to join the waitlist. There is no cost to be placed on the wait list. We will contact you if a spot become available, but you are not obligated to sign up.
