Welcome to Art Days of Summer
Art Days of Summer is an Arts program where children ages 3-10 enjoy, drawing ,designing, inventing and much more! We encourage uneven circles and the use of 'outside the box' thinking when producing art!
Our camp is full of fun, enriching experiences for children who love to create! Through art activities our campers not only learn how to use distinct art tools and materials but also learn various art techniques and terminology. Through creativity, our young artists learn how to build critical thinking and visual communication skills as well as social relations and team collaborations.
Along with themed filled weeks, we learn about a multitude of artists (famous and local). We explore all of what the D.C. Metropolitan area has to offer through weekly field trips; We visit many of the Smithsonian museums (ex. Museum of Natural History, The Hirshhorn Museum , and The African Art Museum) and fill our curiosity of the arts by visiting local businesses such as the Joy of Motion dance studio in NE, DC and The Imagination Stage, in Bethesda, MD.
For more information please feel free to contact our Founder/Director Lisa Ochieng. Spaces will fill up FAST so grab a slot for your little one and let them start exploring their creative side!
